This past weekend I was busy at The Makeup Show Los Angeles! I worked with @occmakeup as usual, my makeup family & it was awesome!! I love them to pieces! All weekend I was surrounded by people who are as passionate about makeup as I am, it’s a wonderful feeling and I truly encourage any fellow makeup artists to get to a makeup show! The helpful information that you get to better you career is priceless. They always have amazing speakers. Definitely look into it ASAP! The next one will be in New York, next month! At The Makeup Show I was asked to do a little session to chat with people and answer their questions! Despite a mix up with the time, I ended up having too many people so we had to relocate ha! It was amazing. It’s always amazing and so powerful for me to be able to meet subscribers/followers. It’s another reason why I LOVE doing working these shows. I get to actually meet, hug, and talk with subscriber. People who have been following me since my MySpace days, since 2004. It’s crazy. I can hardly put into words how awesome it is to me, to be able to thank them all in person. Makes it real, validates why I need to continue to share what I do. The stories some of them tell me, about how just my videos helped them through a rough time, is just…WOW. Sounds cheesy, but it literally brings tears to my eyes. My face..from this past Sunday at IMATS with @sugarpillmakeup I used all Sugarpill eyeshadows on the eyes and @litcosmetics for the glitter brows and lid. My skin/foundation I always only use @occmakeup skin tint with Make Up For Ever duo matte powder. I barely dusted on blush, I hate blush.
